Digital Infrastructure Modernization Driving 67% Audience Growth
From a legacy faith-based media site into a modern digital platform, growing its audience by 67% in under a year and activating new reach across video and web. The result was not just increased traffic, but sustained growth momentum and a scalable infrastructure.

The Client
Shalom Adventure is a specialized digital magazine and media ministry dedicated to sharing Jewish heritage and faith-based content. Despite holding a 15-year archive of articles and video content, the ministry entered 2025 facing digital stagnation.
The Challenge
Shalom Adventure relied on legacy digital systems and a passive distribution model that limited growth. Its Joomla-based website faced performance constraints, YouTube reach had plateaued, and the organization depended almost entirely on donations without a diversified revenue structure.
In 2025, Shalom Adventure partnered with Christian Digital Network (CDN) to modernize its digital infrastructure and implement a data-driven growth strategy.
Strategy & Execution
CDN immediately moved to transition the client from “maintenance mode” to “growth mode.” The 2025 strategy focused on three pillars: technical modernization, aggressive content repurposing, and platform diversification.
- Website Infrastructure & E-Commerce Overhaul
Recognizing that traffic growth requires a stable foundation, CDN managed a critical migration of the web environment to a high-performance host (Hostinger) to improve speed and security. Simultaneously, we moved to monetize the brand’s loyalty by building a Shopify-integrated e-commerce store. This shifted the ministry from a pure donation model to a hybrid model, utilizing print-on-demand (Printful) to sell merchandise without overhead, creating a new, sustainable revenue stream. - The “Shorts-on-Purpose” Engine
To break through algorithmic stagnation, CDN implemented a high-frequency short-form video strategy. We repurposed the client’s existing Season 1 TV episodes into 30 high-impact YouTube Shorts per month. This turned their archival content into a powerful discovery engine, driving new viewers to their long-form teaching and website. - Strategic Traffic Filtering
As traffic scaled, CDN implemented advanced analytics to distinguish between vanity metrics and value. We identified and filtered bot traffic to focus optimization efforts on “real human” behavior. This allowed us to validate that actual users were engaging for stable 30–60 second windows, ensuring our content strategy was resonating with the target demographic.
Results & Impact
The partnership with CDN in 2025 produced immediate, measurable shifts in the organization’s trajectory, validating the aggressive change in strategy.
- Website Traffic Growth:
Comparing the full year of 2024 to the first 11 months of 2025, website performance skyrocketed. Total users grew from 34,560 in 2024 to 57,775 in 2025, a 67% increase in audience size in under a year. - YouTube Subscriber Acceleration:
The implementation of the “Shorts” strategy in early 2025 resulted in a distinct “hockey stick” growth curve. By October 2025, the channel had achieved a velocity of approximately 1,500 new subscribers per month, significantly expanding the ministry’s digital footprint. - Operational Resilience:
By November 2025, the “real” website traffic was verified as healthy, with human users demonstrating consistent engagement rates. The shift to a modern hosting environment and the addition of e-commerce capabilities secured the ministry’s operational future.
